Diageo wanted to educate adult consumers and bartenders about Jose Cuervo, create an exclusive Jose Cuervo sales event and extend the Cinco De Mayo Holiday.
Entercom Seattle created “The 1st Annual Taco Truck Challenge” where consumers were invited to a downtown Seattle park for Taco Trucks. Live Music, and a Jose Cuervo Spirits Garden. The Spirits Garden showcased five Cuervo products and incorporated local bars and restaurants by encouraging consumers to vote for their favorite margarita in Seattle. The top three vote-getters made their margarita on-site for a panel of celebrity judges.
The First Annual Taco Truck Challenge drew a crowd of nearly 3,000 and Diageo sold through an additional 30 cases of product during the one day event.
